Here is one of our favorite LEGO© marble runs we made using just basic LEGO©. It was pretty simple for my kids to help me make, and we had a lot of fun figuring out how to keep the marble in motion. Check out how we made it below, and at the bottom is a video of our marble run in action.
You Will Need

How to Create the Supports
I found it easier to work backward when creating this LEGO© marble run. Starting at the bottom, you can pick where your marble run ends and make an enclosure so the marble doesn’t roll off the table.
To keep your marble run stable, ensure the supports connect the track that runs in both directions. Any piece of track that is free-standing will move a lot while the marbles descend the track and might cause that section to collapse.
How to Create the Marble Run Track
I used standard-sized black marbles for my marble run. I first tested to see how wide I needed to make the track to accommodate the marble. Luckily, it was an easy two-stud-wide.
Next, start making your marble run track. I tested my track constantly to ensure the descent was fast enough to keep the marble in motion.
Other than ensuring that your track is at least two studs wide with sides on both sides, most of your LEGO© marble run will depend on what bricks you have in your collection.
If you have any fun arch pieces, you can even make a tunnel for your marble to go through. Have fun with it, and let your imagination take off!
