We added to our marble run collection again by purchasing a 110-piece Elevator Marble Run set from Mindware. We bought this particular set because we wanted an elevator to try out different builds with. This 110-piece Elevator Marble Run by Mindware has lots of unique pieces and was a lot of fun to use However if you are looking to make a bigger build they also sell a 215-piece Elevator Marble Run set that includes most of the same pieces plus lots more!

We loved that not only is this set compatible with other Mindware marble run sets but it was also compatible with all the other sets we own that are of a similar design. This was fantastic because the kids used their existing pieces with the elevator to have even more options when building marble runs. Just like with all the sets you need to make sure you support the structure but my kids picked it up quickly with a little trial and error.
The elevator worked great for us. You need to make sure it is properly supported, if the conveyor built isn’t taut it will get stuck but other than that it is easy to set up. The only other minor problem we had was it squeaked a little bit (a drop of olive oil solves this) but it was easy to fix.

This set was a lot of fun and after collecting so many different types of marble runs I am happy to finally have an elevator. The kids really enjoyed making complex tracks that went in a continuous loop with the elevator. A list of our favorite marble run sets can be found at Best Marble Runs for Kids!
You can find a video of the elevator marble run in the video below. Enjoy!
